As we wait until the evacuations are lifted so we can go back home, I can only think of what the Lord told me this morning: Jeff leaves for work at 6:30, and that's when I usually feed and water the livestock bcuz the water is cooler then...that's when I usually have my time with the Lord, also. This morning, however, I was strongly urged to specifically and verbally pray Psalm 91 out loud over our property and animals—all of our possessions, basically. So, I pulled up the Bible App on my phone, and began speaking it and claiming it as I prayed...now I know why. We were told to evacuate around 4:30 this afternoon...they said that it was about a half mile up the road, not contained and moving quickly. I didn't have time to hook up a trailer and grab horses so, I remembered my prayer this morning and began speaking it all over again as my daughter and I got ready to leave. We have just received an unofficial report that we lost our hay field, but our house was saved...and I'm believing that our livestock is, as well. We praise Him while we wait! Thank You, Lord, for protecting all of the people and emergency agencies fighting this fire... bless them 100-fold in return!!! Back Home…. GLORY TO THE MOST HIGH GOD!!! The fire took out our hay field...but now we have potash fertilizer ready for the rains—which are coming. The fire stopped at the fence line where we had a horse and that led to the rest of our place and to our neighbors' places. God's faithfulness is overwhelming! All of our structures, vehicles, and animals were safe...as well as our bordering neighbors. Anything that is burned in the pictures only shows how much the Lord honors our prayers when we honor and believe His Word. I can't say enough about His goodness and power! There will be a prayer/praise meeting tonight at the Football Stadium parking lot from 6:00-6:30 tonight. Please keep standing in agreement with the prayers over the firefighters, and emergency/utility people still working in this heat...and for the containment of this fire! Thank you all for praying, for the numerous offers we received for places to stay, and thank you to EVERYONE in Brown county that is helping in any way....may the Lord bless you all 100 fold in return!!! More pics will be posted later. Jana's video is posted on our Facebook page; you may view it here. https://bit.ly/2rdVDp8 And the cool front brings rain…. So many changes within just a week...the land around us and just up the road from us was burned. My husband calls a little lamb born this week "Firefly".😊 Thank God for the rain that came to the area and for the rain that will come. Give God the praise He deserves and seek what He has in store for you today. ❤ J Primrose
