The Cross Invites the Nation to Come Back to God.

Picture
We see the vertical beam of the cross and it reminds us of the love God has for us and we see the horizontal beam and it reminds us of the love that we are to share with all mankind. For our Easter Bible Study I want us to look at the story of a prophet in the Old Testament who understood about that kind of love. His Life because it represents the Resurrection Love that God offers through the Resurrected Life of Jesus! Hosea is a picture of God’s love for Israel, it is also a picture of His continuous love for all men.

You Will Tread On The Lion and Cobra - Psalm 91

Picture
My husband says that too many Christians take authority when they should be praying, and they pray when they should be taking authority! For the most part, Jesus prayed at night and took authority all day. When we encounter the enemy—that is not the time to start praying. We need to be already “prayed up”. When we encounter the enemy, we need to be speaking forth the authority that we have in the Name of Jesus.

Returning to Your First Love

Picture
Have you ever had a scripture that just began to rise up in your spirit and you knew it was the Holy Spirit?  I was led to Revelation chapter two, it says to the angel of the church at Ephesus write… They discerned good and evil, they chose good for themselves, and they also required the good. And God said that's good. They were tenacious, they persevered under trial, they determined not to grow weary in well-doing. But then He goes on to say in Revelation 2:4, but I have this against you, that you have left your first love. He wasn't saying that they had turned away from Christ. He wasn't saying that they had walked away and renounced the name of Jesus; He was just simply saying that Christ no longer occupied the place of young first love. He said, you've left that first love. Do you remember your first love?

How God Showed Me Psalm 91

Picture
Sundays were usually a comfort. For some some reason being inside the church building made the fears temporarily disappear—but not on this particular Sunday. Our pastor looked unusually serious that day as he made the announcement that one of our most beloved and faithful deacons had been diagnosed with leukemia and had only a few weeks to live...“Lord, is there any way to be protected from all the evils that are coming on the earth?”

The Laws of Sowing and Reaping

Picture
Little by little, we're beginning to realize that there are spiritual laws that are just as sure, and just as reliable, and just as certain as any physical law. Now, when this finally becomes a reality, we're going to start thinking through every action, we're going to start thinking through every word that comes out of our mouth, we're going to think through even the tone of our voice and our attitudes, because we're going to realize that all of these things are causing spiritual laws to be set into motion all the time.

Have We Been Praying Enough?

Picture
“Five minutes inside eternity and we will wish that we had sacrificed more, wept more, grieved more, loved and prayed more, and given more.”
-Leonard Ravenhill

We need to ask ourselves, “How serious have I been to do my part in bringing about the miracle of this calamity being lifted off of us? How often have I been getting  on my face and crying out to God for forgiveness for our nation, and crying out for forgiveness for my personal sins?

You Will Not Be Afraid Of The Pestilence (Coronavirus) - Psalm 91:6

Picture
FEAR GRIPPED MY HEART and beads of perspiration popped out on my forehead as I feverishly ran my fingers over what felt like a lump in my body. How I dreaded that monthly self-examination the doctor had suggested. My fingertips were as cold as ice from the panic I had worked up just thinking about what I might find, and the turn my life would take from there...You will not be afraid of the pestilence that stalks in darkness.
