A friend of ours who was working in the mines in Carlsbad, New Mexico, had the responsibility of setting off the explosives. One particular day he was ready to push the switch when someone tapped him on the shoulder. To his surprise no one was anywhere around. Deciding that it must have been his imagination, he started once again to detonate the explosion when he felt another tap on his shoulder. Again, no one was there, so he decided to move all the ignition equipment several hundred feet back up the tunnel. When he finally plunged the charger, the whole top of the tunnel caved in exactly where he had been standing. A coincidence? You could never make our friend believe that. He knew someone had tapped him on the shoulder. This verse 11 says, “For He will give His angels charge concerning you!” What does that mean? Think with me for a moment! Have you ever taken charge of a situation? When you take charge of something, you put yourself in a place of leadership. You begin telling everyone what to do and how to do it. If angels are taking charge of the things that concern us, God has given the angels, not the circumstances, the authority to act on our behalf. -Peggy Joyce Ruth Share YOUR Psalm 91 Testimony in the comments!
